CERTIFICAÇÃO UNWTO
The United Nations World Tourism Organization has renewed the TedQual quality certification for all five degree courses at the Estoril School of Hospitality and Tourism (ESHTE) and four master's degree courses.
The renewal of this certification is valid for three years - until May 5, 2026 - and is a "seal of quality" for the training provided by ESHTE, which is recognized nationally and internationally.
The TedQual certification process, conferred by the World Tourism Organization, is a voluntary initiative by institutions that want to certify their courses, research projects and training in general. This process seeks to promote continuous improvement in tourism training and research by defining a standard of criteria for the quality of tourism education.
Thus, it is based on five areas of analysis to evaluate candidate projects externally and internally: the coherence of the study plan; the pedagogical and infrastructural conditions; the policies, tools and support mechanisms for administrative management; the existence of transparent mechanisms for selecting teaching staff and favorable conditions for their development; and the relevance of the study program, respecting the specific needs of the tourism sector.
