The Executive Master in Management of Tourism Units in Rural Areas works in association between the Escola Superior de Hotelaria e Turismo do Estoril, o Instituto Politécnico de Castelo Branco e o Instituto Politécnico do Porto.

Objectives:

- Develop skills in the area of Management of Tourism Units in Rural Areas, privileging an integrated perspective at the level of development and implementation of policies and action plans in Tourism Enterprises in rural areas;

- Meet the training needs of all those who intend to start their professional activity in TRA Units;

- Improve the knowledge and skills of people who already exercise their professional activity in TRA Units

- Provide students with technical management skills, in various aspects, mastering the main management trends, new hotel concepts, and new trends.

Target-Audience

- Holders of a bachelor's degree, or its legal equivalent, in any area of knowledge, obtained in Portuguese or foreign Higher Education Institutions; 

- Professionals who wish to acquire and develop knowledge and skills for the exercise of functions in TRA Units;

- Owners and/or managers of TER Units, Professionals who wish to acquire and develop a Project in a TRA Unit; Holders of a school, scientific or professional curriculum compatible with the themes of the Course and whose scientific preparation is considered adequate for the Advanced Specialization Course.

Schedule

The course will take place at Escola Superior de Gestão de Idanha-a-Nova do Instituto Politécnico de Castelo Branco,  preferably on Monday (from 9 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 6 pm)
