The International Tourism Congress is the annual scientific meeting of the Centre for Tourism Research, Development, and Innovation (CiTUR). The XIII edition will be organised by the Estoril Higher Institute for Tourism and Hotel Studies (ESHTE).

We are pleased to invite researchers, scholars, tourism and hospitality leaders and professionals within public and private organisations, and members of professional bodies to submit their work. The main theme of the Congress is:

“Reinventing tourism for upcoming challenges.”

ITC will be held from 28th to 29th October 2021, in Estoril, Portugal (Pre-Congress: 27th October). Due to the current pandemic situation the Congress is prepared to happen in an online mode, hoping for the possibility of some face-to-face sessions (hybrid mode).

ITC 2021 aims to present and discuss national and international experiences on the advances and trends in tourism and hospitality fields.

We live challenging times. It is the moment to (re)invent. To (re)think. To (re)imagine. To (re)plan. To (re)engineer.  To (re)structure. To (re)communicate. To (re)start.

Join us!
