On World Food Day, ESHTE invites you to reflect on your food choices.

Are your main meals in line with the recommendations? Check here if your plate contains the recommended portions of food.

A balanced diet is a fundamental part of a healthy lifestyle and contributes to good health. Individual dietary balance and the choices we make also influence the health of the planet:

  - eat vegetables, fresh fruit, legumes, nuts and whole grains every day

            - consume fish, poultry and dairy products in moderation

            - reduce your consumption of red and processed meats

            - drink water

            - avoid processed and packaged foods, such as cookies, juices, pastries, salty snacks, pre-cooked food, among others

            - do regular physical activity - 30 minutes a day is enough to improve your health and well-being.
