Seminars 2018/2019 - & The Transversal Training of Tourist Information

As part of the Seminar I course in the 3rd year of the degree in Tourism Information, ESHTE, in the person of Professor Maria Mota Almeida, had the honour of welcoming prestigious speakers from different areas of tourism who, as in previous years, shared their professional experience with future national Tourist Guides and Promoters.

We would like to thank not only our teaching colleagues, but also the following trade guests: Pedro Beato (Turismo do Alentejo, E.R.T.), Maria José Alves and Maria Cordeiro (Cascais Convention Bureau), Cristina Leal, Aida Ablum and Maria João Neto (AGIC), Clara Bertrand Cabral and Elizabeth Silva (CNU/MNE) and Francisco Braga (Minor Hotels).

In the spring semester, we will welcome new speakers and topics in Seminar II, thus reinforcing the transversal and sustainable training that is desired in a higher education programme that is well adapted to the contemporary demands of the professional activity for which ESHTE has been preparing graduates since its foundation in 1991.
