Entrepreneur Project Trophy by DNA Cascais

On November 29th, the new companies supported by DNA Cascais throughout 2019 were presented: those that benefited from mentoring for their creation or in the startup phase and those that inhabit the DNA ecosystem, through physical and virtual incubation solutions.

At the event, the results of DNA's activity over the past year were presented, as well as a retrospective of 13 years of work on behalf of entrepreneurship in Cascais.

Also noteworthy was the special participation of CASES - Cooperativa António Sérgio para a Economia Social (António Sérgio Cooperative for the Social Economy), which presented its global project to the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Cascais, as well as some instruments for supporting micro-entities.

The 33 new projects of the companies supported in 2019 by DNA are in various areas of activity: tourism, transportation, catering, accounting, entertainment, consultancy, etc.

Cascais Food Lab was one of these 33 magnificent companies. This is a Cascais City Council project for the promotion of gastronomy, co-financed by the Mar2020 program, which aims to promote, encourage and develop entrepreneurship by enhancing the municipality's gastronomic offer of excellence. Our project is being developed in partnership with Cascais Ambiente and the Estoril School of Hospitality and Tourism. The project has been supported by DNA Cascais since its inception and will soon open in the Mercado da Vila.
