STEP+ STUDENT TRANSITION & ENGAGEMENT PROGRAM+

step-1

The Student Transition & Engagement Program + (STEP+) consortium is a program approved for two years (2024/2025 and 2025/2026) that continues the STEP Program, already underway, aimed at promoting success and reducing dropout rates in higher education.

The promoting institution is the Escola Superior de Enfermagem de Lisboa (ESEL), in collaboration with the co-promoters Escola Superior de Hotelaria e Turismo do Estoril (ESHTE) and Escola Superior Náutica Infante D. Henrique (ENIDH).

The proposal for action is based on five dimensions common to the three institutions in the consortium, which are crucial for promoting academic success and preventing drop-outs from higher education:

Welcome program for first-year students;
Integration and support for first-year students;
Student training;
Training of human resources;
Inter-institutional cooperation.
In order to achieve and operationalize these objectives, the collaboration of the entire academic community is essential. We remain committed to contributing to academic success by offering services, technological means and human resources to support and accompany study, as well as peer support, with the aim of including everyone in the academic community.

We are counting on you to promote equity and involvement in the school from the moment you enter to the moment you leave higher education!
