The 7th edition of the Caixa Mais Mundo Award
On April 3, the 7th edition of the Caixa Mais Mundo Award took place. This initiative reaffirms Caixa Geral de Depósitos' commitment to education and the promotion of equal opportunities in access to higher education. This program, developed in partnership with the Directorate-General for Higher Education (DGES), aims to distinguish academic merit and support students from more vulnerable socioeconomic backgrounds, encouraging the continuation of studies and the development of essential skills.
The 2024/2025 edition once again demonstrates Caixa's ongoing commitment to supporting students, recognizing their effort and merit, and helping to overcome financial barriers that can hinder their academic path. This year, CGD reinforced its investment, increasing the total amount allocated and ensuring the renewal of scholarships granted in previous editions.
Since its creation, the Caixa Mais Mundo Award has benefited 1,410 students, with an accumulated investment of more than R$1.8 million.
