Students of the Masters in Tourism and Communication visit Serra de Estrela

As part of the Tourist Resources and Itineraries course, first-year students of the Master's degree in Tourism and Communication participated in a study visit to Serra da Estrela on April 5th and 6th. The group was accompanied by professors Carla Mora and Fiona Bakas, from the Institute of Geography and Spatial Planning, at the University of Lisbon, an ESHTE partner institution in this course.

 

Over the weekend, the master's students visited CISE (Serra da Estrela Interpretation Centre) in Seia, collected information at Alto da Torre, and also visited Pousada da Serra da Estrela in Covilhã, accompanied by members of the Estrela Geopark, and museums in Belmonte, to collect information to create a tourist itinerary for the area visited.
