As part of the protocol signed between Delta Cafés and the Estoril Higher School of Hotel and Tourism (ESHTE), students of the Master's in Innovation in Culinary Arts carried out, on May 15, a technical visit to several emblematic structures of the Delta universe, in Campo Maior.
The journey began at the Novadelta Factory at 9:30 am, where students were able to see up close the coffee roasting, grinding, and packaging process, in addition to the innovation and sustainability practices adopted by the brand. This was followed at 10:30 am by a visit to the Coffee Science Center — an interactive and cultural space that explores the history, science, and sensory universe of coffee.
The program ended with a visit to Adega Mayor, at noon, where participants were able to appreciate the symbiosis between innovation, architecture, and oenology, characteristic of this excellent project by Grupo Nabeiro.
This visit is part of the challenge launched by Delta Cafés to the master's students: to create an original coffee-based drink, using molecular mixology techniques. The objective is to explore new ways of valuing coffee as a noble and versatile ingredient, integrating science, creativity, and sustainability.
This type of initiative reinforces ESHTE's commitment to partnerships with leading companies and promotes the connection between academic knowledge and the reality of the sector, enhancing the training of future professionals in gastronomy and food innovation.
