The SEAside LANDscapes project, Representations of tourism on the Oeiras-Cascais coastline, is the result of a partnership between the Estoril Higher Institute for Tourism and Hotel Studies(ESHTE) /MUVITUR, the School of Social Communication / Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon (IPL), the Cascais City Council Historical Archive and the Landscape Museum Association.
"The SEALAND project proposes innovative forms of mediation between the public and the landscape through multimedia solutions that promote reflection on the transformation of coastal tourist landscapes. Its main objective is to develop a multimedia prototype that brings together documentary and artistic content (graphic representations, photographs, audio and video) on the transformations and tensions of the coastal territory on the Oeiras-Cascais axis, from a perspective of the past, present and future."
