Roundtable discussion promotes reflection on Conflict Management and Communication in the Hospitality Industry

As part of the Human Resources Management course, taught by Professor Cátia Rodrigues, third-year students of the Food Production in Catering (PAR) degree organized a round table discussion on the theme "Conflict Management and Communication in Hospitality". The event featured experts from the Tourism and Hospitality sector.
 
Held on November 28th, the meeting featured Professor Carlos Ferreira da Costa and Chef António Mauritti, who shared practical insights and approaches to workplace conflict resolution. Although unable to attend, human resources professional Catarina de Menezes Califórnia contributed to the discussion by submitting a practical case study from her professional experience.
 
The initiative provided students with the opportunity to plan and execute all stages of organizing a professional event, allowing them to develop skills such as leadership, shared responsibility, creativity, and adaptability.
