Rita Costa in her 2nd year of PAR at ESHTE | Participant in Masterchef Portugal 2022

Rita Costa, who is studying 2nd year Food Production in Catering at the Estoril Higher Institute for Tourism and Hotel Studies (ESHTE), is the newest contestant on MasterChef Portugal 2022.

Her participation in MasterChef Portugal is a dream come true. In the first episode she sweetened the judges' mouths with a lemon meringue tart, and in the next competition she surprised them with an orange and almond risotto with duck magret.

She took part in and won the first edition of the Cascais Junior Chef competition, held in 2021, an initiative of Cascais FoodLab and Jovem Cascais.

She started cooking from an early age, mainly due to the influence of her parents, who were restaurant entrepreneurs.
