The 10th Italian Gastronomy Week took place in Portugal from October 18th to 26th, celebrating the tradition and innovation of Italian cuisine. The initiative, promoted by the Italian Embassy in Lisbon, aimed to highlight the excellence of Italian cuisine and its territories, bringing together a series of activities under the theme "Italian Cuisine between Health, Culture, and Innovation."
ESHTE has participated in this event for several years and on October 20th, hosted a masterclass organized by the Association of Italian Chefs in Portugal, with the theme: "Risotto alla Milanese, a sensory journey between Tradition and Modernity," reinforcing its connection with Italian cuisine and the training of excellent professionals.
The event featured a special guest appearance by Chef Sandro Passariello, who shared authentic techniques and flavors with students of the Master's in Innovation in Culinary Arts and Kitchen Sciences (MIACC). Italian Gastronomy Week brings together chefs, nutrition experts, and food enthusiasts for workshops, tastings, and lectures that celebrate the union between culinary tradition and innovation, providing enriching experiences of cultural and gastronomic exchange.
