Final year students of Tourist Information participate in the Seminar: “AGIC Portugal: objectives and mission / the role of the National Guide-Interpreter and his position in the current world”

As part of the Seminars I course, the graduating class of the third-year Tourism Information (IT) program, under the guidance of Professor Rita Espada, had the opportunity to host AGIC Portugal – the Portuguese Association of Guide-Interpreters and Tourist Couriers – on October 17th.
 
The seminar was attended by IT professionals and alumni Miguel Silva, Adriana Fernandes, and Norberto Mestre, currently President, Vice-President, and Secretary of the Board of Directors of AGIC Brazil, respectively. They shared their experiences as professionals, encouraging critical thinking and fostering a dynamic and engaging learning environment.
 
AGIC Portugal is a professional association whose main mission is to represent, promote, and support qualified National Guide-Interpreters and Tourist Couriers.
 
The class expresses its gratitude to the guests for their excellent presentations, which significantly contributed to the personal and professional growth of future Tourism Information graduates.
