"ESHTE's Table Talk Conversations" debut with experience sharing and networking

On November 4th, the Descobertas Pedagogical Restaurant hosted the first sessions of the “ESHTE Table Conversations” meetings, an initiative of the Office for Professional Integration and Lifelong Learning Support, in collaboration with Alumni ESHTE.

The event, held in two parts—lunch and dinner—aimed to bring current and former ESHTE students together, providing an informal space for sharing experiences and professional networking. The inaugural session was dedicated to the Food Production in Catering (PAR) course and featured three renowned alumni: Flávio Marques, Chef at Casino Estoril; Ricardo Ferreira, Food & Beverage Director at Hotel Dom Pedro Lisboa; and Ricardo Raimundo, founder of Atelier Chef Ricardo Raimundo and professor at the School of Tourism and Maritime Technology in Peniche.

During the meeting, the guests shared their professional journeys, challenges, and lessons learned, inspiring students to reflect on the diverse opportunities offered by the food and hospitality sector.
