The Estoril School of Hospitality and Tourism (ESHTE) was part of the Portuguese delegation that participated in ExpoPosgrados América Latina, one of the main events promoting European higher education, held from October 2nd to 12th in the cities of Bogotá and Medellín (Colombia), Lima (Peru), and Santiago (Chile).

ESHTE's participation was part of the Study & Research in Portugal initiative, promoted by the Erasmus+ National Agency for Education and Training with the support of the CCISP (Coordinating Council of Polytechnic Institutes). The main objective was to promote Portuguese higher education and attract international students, reinforcing Portugal's position as an excellent academic destination.

ESHTE was part of a group of polytechnic higher education institutions, united under the Portugal Polytechnics brand, a strategic initiative for the internationalization of higher education in Portugal. During the trip, the delegation was welcomed by the Portuguese Ambassador in Lima, Joaquim Moreira de Lemos, and the Ambassador in Santiago, Helena Bicho. These meetings allowed for a deeper institutional dialogue and highlighted the role of Polytechnic Higher Education in Portugal's international recognition.

Under the motto "Quality, Innovation, and a Welcoming Environment," Portugal was recognized as a Country of Honor at the event, reinforcing its mission of bridging cultures and building new bridges through education. During the event, numerous contacts were made with students interested in pursuing studies in Portugal.
