ESHTE promotes two seminars dedicated to mental health and well-being

On October 7th, the Estoril School of Hospitality and Tourism (ESHTE) hosted two integrated seminars within the StudentWellBe project, dedicated to promoting mental health and well-being within the academic community.

In the morning, a seminar was held for all ESHTE employees, led by school professor and clinical psychologist Ezequiel Santos, focusing on the importance of mental health in the professional context. The initiative sought to raise awareness about the adoption of self-care and emotional management strategies, in addition to valuing the role of each employee in building a healthy, empathetic, and collaborative work environment.

In the afternoon, the seminar "Think. Decide. Shine!" was held for ESHTE students. The session aimed to empower participants to understand and apply knowledge about mental health, helping them make informed decisions tailored to their needs.

The meeting was led by specialist professors and psychologists from the Lisbon School of Nursing (ESEL), providing a moment of sharing, reflection, and inspiration, focused on personal development and strengthening emotional health.

These initiatives contribute to promoting mental health literacy and creating a more conscious, participatory, and supportive academic culture, where individual and collective well-being are valued as an integral part of the educational and professional experience.
