João Silva, a finalist in Hospitality Management and Management, won 3rd place in the national finals of POLIEMPREENDE 2025 with his Project FUSION. This innovative concept will revolutionize the cocktail and ready-to-mix drink industry. This award reinforces ESHTE's role in promoting innovation and entrepreneurial spirit among its students and alumni.
The national phase of Poliempreende, considered the largest entrepreneurship competition in polytechnic education in Portugal, took place from September 1st to 5th at the University of Aveiro, bringing together 20 finalist projects from institutions across the country. During the event, participants benefited from an intensive training, mentoring, and networking program, culminating in the presentation and awarding of their projects.
The ESHTE academic community congratulates student João Silva, who received support from his colleague Débora Medeiros in preparing and presenting his project. This excellent result is a source of pride for our institution and demonstrates the relevance of the training in hospitality, tourism, and entrepreneurship that the School promotes.
