ESHTE at the Soil to Soul B2B Showcase Event

As a result of an initiative between Wine of Color of South Africa (WOCSA) in collaboration with the South African Embassy in Lisbon, ESHTE participated in the From Soil to Soul B2B Showcase Event, held on October 1st. This initiative provided an opportunity to showcase the gastronomy and wines produced in South Africa.

 

The event was attended by Janine Petersen, a winemaker and representative and promoter of women entrepreneurs in the world of winemaking. Rosey Almeida also delivered a speech to those present, highlighting the Ubuntu philosophy and way of life, emphasizing the encounter of cultures, tolerance, and the inclusion, especially of women, in society and the economy. Finally, C.A. Le Roux (Chargé d’Affaires), the host speaker at the event, emphasized the importance of this initiative, which brought together representatives from economics, diplomacy, culture, and higher education.

 

This presence at the South African Embassy continues the excellent institutional relationship established with ESHTE over the past few years.
