The CiTUR Estoril hub had a significant presence at DSOTT25 – Diversity & Sustainability: Opportunities and Threats on Tourism, an international conference that brought together science, industry and governance to discuss the main challenges and opportunities for sustainable and inclusive tourism.
The event took place between June 4th and 6th and was organized by the Estoril School of Hospitality and Tourism (ESHTE), in partnership with the University of Coimbra/Faculty of Letters, the European University, ISAG – European Business School, and the International Tourism Studies Association (ITSA). The conference had the institutional support of CiTUR Estoril.
Researcher Rita Peres, an integrated member of CiTUR Estoril, was part of the event's organizing committee, actively contributing to its planning and implementation. Several researchers from the Estoril hub participated in the conference, presenting their research projects in thematic sessions and also taking on the role of moderators in different panels.
DSOTT25 provided a privileged platform for sharing knowledge and experiences between leading researchers and professionals from different countries, demonstrating CiTUR's commitment to promoting applied research and the sustainable development of tourism.
