The Estoril School of Hospitality and Tourism (ESHTE) welcomed a delegation from the Chinese Association of Business Professionals (CABP) on June 21st, following the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards and the growing ties between institutions in the fields of professional training, tourism, and catering.
The visit took place on the final day of the 2025 edition of the Gourmand Awards, an internationally renowned event held in Portugal that brought together authors, publishers, and gastronomy professionals from around the world. The Chinese delegation, comprised of prominent figures in the fields of professional education and gastronomy, was warmly welcomed by ESHTE in a meeting marked by the exchange of experiences.
The delegation included:
• Xu Yunfei, President of CABP;
• Li Bin, founder of the Anyuguchashifang restaurant and member of the Chinese expert group for the World Skills Competition, Vice President of the Chinese Association of Business Professionals, and President of the Catering Division;
• • Qian Yibin, founder of Shanghai Flavor Fusion Creative Kitchen, member of the Chinese expert group for the World Skills Competition; Vice President and General Manager of the Catering Division of the China Association of Business Professionals;
• Huang Jun, renowned chef from Hong Kong and co-founder of Shanghai Ronghao Catering Co., Ltd.
• Zhou Sheng, President of Suzhou's Old Dad Catering Group.
The China Association of Business Professionals, founded in 1993 and officially recognized by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, has played a key role in the creation of skills standards, professional certification, exchanges, and international cooperation. Its mission involves strengthening the highly skilled talent training system and supporting sustainable economic growth.
