Academic spirit highlighted in the reception of new students 2025/2026

On September 18th and 19th, the Estoril School of Hospitality and Tourism (ESHTE) welcomed new students for the 2025/2026 academic year with a dynamic and engaging program integrated into the STEP+ – Student Transition & Engagement Program.

The success of the initiative also benefited from the valuable collaboration of the Student Association, which was responsible for preparing lunches on both days, creating a welcoming and convivial atmosphere. The program included a welcome session by the President, course presentations by the respective coordinators, a guided campus tour, and various group activities. These activities encouraged integration, close contact between peers, faculty, and staff, and strengthened the sense of belonging to the academic community. The impressive participation set the tone of enthusiasm and energy that marked the beginning of the new academic year.

One of the most significant moments was the presentation of awards to the students with the highest entrance grades from the previous year, each worth 400 euros, recognizing academic merit and promoting the appreciation of excellence among new students.

On the 19th, a charity walk through Estoril was also held, which concluded with the presentation of the funds raised through a collection from the academic community to the Estoril Volunteer Firefighters.

With two days packed with activities and strong attendance, the welcome for new students was a milestone of integration and solidarity, reflecting ESHTE's mission to provide quality education and promote personal and academic development within the STEP+ program.
