Mostra Nacional Jovens Criadores (MNJC)

agenda-5705

Applications are now open for the National Young Creators Showcase (MNJC), the IPDJ initiative organized by Gerador, which since 1997 has been promoting young creators in Portugal's broadest and most relevant creative stimulus programme.

This is an opportunity for people living in Portugal, up to the age of 30, to submit their artistic projects in 15 different areas, including Gastronomy.
To evaluate the gastronomic works, we invited renowned authors in the field, such as Hugo Brito, chef at the boi-cavalo restaurant, where he interprets contemporary Lisbon cuisine, and Leonor Godinho, founder of the New Kids on The Block collective and chef at the Vago restaurant. The panel is made up of a total of 45 judges, 3 per artistic area, and is complemented by a representative from IPDJ.

Those selected will be invited to publicly present their artistic work at the official MNJC event, where the winners of each area will also be announced.

There is a total of €15,000 in prizes to be distributed, €1,000 for each artistic area, as well as an individual interview for Gerador and a free course at the Gerador Academy for all the winners.

Applications close on September 21 at 8pm. All the information can be found here: https://gerador.eu/mostra-nacional-de-jovens-criadores/
