MIAC and Arcimboldo’s Stagioni

Last month the students of the Masters in Innovation in Culinary Arts (MIAC) responded to the challenge posed by Imppacto: a culinary experience focusing on the series "Quattro stagioni" (1563-1572) by the Italian painter Giuseppe Arcimboldo and on the way he works images of flora and fauna, composing human physiognomies for Emperor Maximilian II. Spring, summer, autumn and winter dressed like flowers, fruits, vegetables and animals in a unique menu. In this context, the culinary arts illustrated how one can work colors, textures and flavors always with a framework unique in itself, through the plates and the created environments that have illustrated and reflected the spirit of the experience.
