Mexican Gastronomy Workshop at ESHTE

Last Saturday, April 13, the Estoril School of Hospitality and Tourism (ESHTE) hosted a special workshop on Mexican gastronomy organized by the Yucatán Gastronomic Federation and the Mexican Embassy in Portugal. The Yucatán delegation was made up of a team of chefs and entrepreneurs representing the rich culinary tradition of that Mexican state, and the Mexican Ambassador was also present.

Support and guidance for the team during the activities were provided by ESHTE lecturers, Chefs Luís Jesus and David Cunha.

The workshop was enthusiastically attended by first-year students on the after-school Food Production in Catering course, as well as other ESHTE teachers. It was a unique opportunity for participants to learn about authentic Mexican cuisine, exploring flavors, techniques, and traditions under the guidance of experts.

This event demonstrates ESHTE's commitment to providing its students with enriching experiences and opportunities to expand their horizons through cultural exchange.
