HIGH TOUCH VS. HIGH TECH IN TOURISM - WHAT IS THE FUTURE?

On March 26th it took place at ESHTE the Seminar High Touch Vs. High Tech no Turismo - What is the future? This seminar is part of the activities of the Business Strategy curricular unit  of the degree courses in Hotel Management and Tourism Management. This is a curricular unit of the Scientific Area of Management. Ricardo Morais, chief operating officer of The Art INN group, and Nuno António, Chief Technology Officer of ITbase / WareGuest participated as speakers. The event also had the participation of the student Rita Oliveira Neves of the Master of Hotel Management at ESHTE who is currently a restaurant manager at a Marriott hotel in Nashville (USA) while developing her master's thesis. This seminar addressed emergent issues related to the duality of people / technology in the future of Tourism.
