ESHTE in International Meetings on Gastronomy

Gastronomy is currently deserving a much greater interest from the Academia. Despite the diverse focus, there were three international meetings in which ESHTE professors took part in October, by both presenting projects and disseminating their research.

ESHTE was represented at the International Seminar on Food, Health and Environment: Sustainability and Challenges (School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon, 10-12 Oct.) by Professors Cláudia Azevedo, Cláudia Viegas, Maria José Pires and Ricardo Bonacho; at the International Conference on Mediterranean Diet and Gastronomy - Linking Innovation, Sustainability and Health (University of Évora, 15-16 Oct.) by professors Anna Lins, Cláudia Viegas and Ricardo Bonacho; and the International Conference We Are What We Eat - the food heritage in the parks and monuments of Sintra (Palace of Queluz, Oct. 19-20) by Professors Maria José Pires and Ricardo Bonacho.
