Congratulations to ESHTE and BackBone

BackBone is the winner of the Born from Knowledge (BfK) programme, in the Tourism and Cultural and Creative Industries category, promoted by the Agência Nacional de Inovação (ANI), having been awarded also with the prize of best pitch, in ex aequo with another idea. BfK aims at promoting a culture of valorization of scientific and technological knowledge in Portugal, distinguishing and awarding good practice and success stories generated in higher education institutions. 

BackBone, ESHTE's awarded idea, is an online platform for the development of soft skills for young people. The team in charge of this idea is composed by Sérgio Figueiredo, Rafael Reis e Beatriz Cristóvão, a student and alumni from Leisure Management and Tourism Entertainment and by the lecturer Ana Gonçalves.

The prize consists in the participation of an acceleration science and technology programme of 3 months to promote the valorization of research and development and of technologies with the potential to be commercialized.
