RESEARCH AND SCIENTIFIC DISSEMINATION CENTRE

The Research and Scientific Dissemination Centre is responsible for carrying out the following tasks: 

To stimulate, organise and develop research at ESHTE;
Creating a set of instruments to support research and teaching at ESHTE, ensuring that potential complementarities are capitalised on;
Contribute to the process of bringing academic and business circles closer together, in order to disseminate scientific knowledge about tourism and include priority themes on research agendas;
Organising sessions for the presentation and discussion of papers, as well as workshops, seminars and conferences;
To disseminate research results, namely by publishing articles in scientific journals and studying the possibility of creating its own scientific journal;
Sensitise and encourage ESHTE students to take up research;
Create mechanisms for liaising with national and international tourism research networks, with a view to exchanging knowledge and developing a set of projects of common interest.
